PLOT Peter Ward (Daniel Craig) is a mental patient who recently left a psychiatric hospital and then a halfway house. Five years earlier, his wife, Elizabeth (Rachel Weisz), and daughters Beatrice and Katherine were murdered at their home. During the attack, Peter was shot in the head, and has no memories of the murders. He has created his own world in which his family is fine and happy to be together. In his world, he is a successful book publisher named Will Atenton; Elizabeth is Libby Atenton; Beatrice is Trish Atenton; and Katherine is Dee Dee Atenton. This is where the movie begins, and the audience is led to believe that Atenton and his family are real. Peter moves back to his abandoned old house and lives inside. Plot The film follows several interacting plotlines, with no single protagonist nor antagonist, over the course of several weeks from the initial outbreak and attempts to contain it, to panic and decay of social order, and, finally, to the introduction of a vaccine. A Beautiful Mind is a 2001 American film based on the life of John Forbes Nash, Jr., a Nobel Laureate in Economics. The film was directed by Ron Howard and written by Akiva Goldsman. It was inspired by a bestselling, Pulitzer Prize-nominated 1998 book of the same name by Sylvia Nasar. The film stars Russell Crowe, along with Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris, Christopher Plummer and Paul Bettany. PLOT In 1947, John Nash (Russell Crowe) arrives at Princeton University as a new graduate student. PLOT The film opens with Prince Albert, Duke of York (played by Colin Firth), the second son of King George V, speaking at the close of the 1925 British Empire Exhibition at Wembley Stadium, with his wife Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter) by his side. Plot In the 1990s, Jamie (Gyllenhaal), who works at an electronics store, is fired for sleeping with his manager's girlfriend.
